AWANA Volunteer Opportunity
(Posted 2/22/08) We're looking for new Sparks Directors for the 08-09 season.
AWANA is our Wednesday night program for children, Sparks is the
K-2nd grade portion. Qualifications for director are 1) a personal relationship with Jesus, 2) some organizational ability, and 3) joy in teaching kids about Christ. Directors ensure the Sparks age group is running smoothly each night. Once the AWANA season starts, there is little weekly prep. There is a unique opportunity right now to get hands-on training from the current directors, so you'll learn AWANA, Sparks, and the Director role.
