What It Is

Here, Near, Far is a special giving initiative and act of worship to “excel in the grace of giving” (2 Corinthians 8:7) as a church to fund three special projects that will advance the Gospel close to home, all the way to Cambodia.

What to Know

We’re setting aside a special offering during services on April 25 & 26 for three special initiatives here (CCC), near (Twin Cities) and far (Cambodia).

If you consider this your church home, we invite you to come prepared to give in whatever way you normally do. We’re excited to see what God will do through our generosity together.

Investment: Dedicated Kid’s Ministry Room

Our goal is to take our Kindergarten - 3rd grade classroom from looking like a conference room to a dedicated kid’s ministry area.

Investments will fund:

  • Paint & dimensional elements for a kid-focused space

  • New cupboards

  • Technology upgrades (Lighting, speakers, soundboard)

  • Interactive, experiential spaces for kid activities

  • Dedicated calm corner

  • Kid activity counter

NEAR

Envision Twin Cities

Envision Twin Cities exists to create partnerships and environments that transform and empower refugees and immigrants.

Our goal is to help outfit a ministry center + housing to host Envision staff, short term teams, ministry, and training.

What these spaces accomplish:

  • Offer training in cross-cultural competencies and evangelism

  •  Host sports ministries

  •   Provide education and resources such as a computer lab, gym, ESL, assistance in filling out forms, financial literacy classes, and a community gathering space

  •   Provide housing for teams

Investments will fund:

Practical items, like sofas, desks, office chairs, a coffee bar set up, printer supplies

FAR

Haley Mills

International Worker | Cambodia

Haley is training and mentoring nursing students in Steung Treng, Cambodia, and providing a Gospel presence in northern Cambodia.

What your money will fund:

As an international worker, Haley is tasked with fundraising a large portion of her role. As her sending church, we want to invest in Haley and help her meet her fundraising goals as she begins her work overseas. Funds will go towards food, housing, and covering basic needs for Haley as she serves the Cambodian people.

Investment: Discipleship, training, and Gospel presence

But since you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you—see that you also excel in this grace of giving.

SEPCIAL OFFERING WEEKEND | April 25 + 26

As we give to what God is doing here, near, and far, we’re choosing to take a step—to excel in generosity. And generosity is an essential expression of our faith.

Please pray and ask God for wisdom on what part you might play financially in these three projects.
